G’day, our new website, Age of Reason is a response to the Australian Government’s rushed new Social Media ban for under 16’s. We quickly built this Age of Reason website to engage kids in this very important political discussion however we were not quick enough!
For Australian youth, you have a right to have a say and have your voice heard by the law makers to improve their behaviour; after all, it’s your future and your life.
They can be a bit mid with technology eh?!
The Age of Reason can provide MP’s with valuable opinions of the mostly unrepresented kids who this bill affects. As Andrew Wilke noted in his article, Why I’ve Changed my mind about the social media bill, “We have heard a lot from the parents’ perspective, but the voices of children and young people have been conspicuously missing from most of the debate.”
You decide what you want to tell them – and we will make sure it gets to the right place.
